In an era when billions of images are born and disappear with a touch on a screen, this exhibition invites you to slow down. Amid digital saturation and AI, it reflects on the sincerity of truly looking. Photography has always been an art of light and time, and these masterworks from the 20th century are more than mechanical reproductions: they are the artists’ own way of seeing the world. Featuring around 80 works by 17 world-renowned photographers, including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Tina Modotti, and William Klein, the special exhibition by Gallery Lumiere traces the many paths of modern photography, from pioneers of fine art photography to masters of humanism and documentary work.
