Turtle Chips are known for an unusual layered structure. The flavors run from sweet to savory to spicy, and corn is the classic flavor in Korea.

Among international reviewers, many prefer the sweeter choco churros version. Overseas reviewers also rave about the light, airy crunch, and the pairing of familiar flavors with an unfamiliar texture has helped the chips stand out in the crowded global snack market.

This cereal mixes deep chocolate-flavored Chex Choco with strawberry-flavored Chex Strawberry, then adds strawberry crunch balls for texture. It is made with five whole grains and contains 66% more protein and 34% less sugar. A 30g serving carries 5g of sugar.

From late August it is available at major online and offline retailers nationwide. A new character, 첵순이, has been introduced as the girlfriend of the existing Chex Choco mascot 체키. According to Kellogg's marketing team, consumers had been waiting for a strawberry-flavored Chex.

The recipe pairs Binggrae's signature banana-flavored milk with a pack of hazelnut coffee, poured into a convenience store ice cup. The result is a creamy, lightly sweet drink that works as a shortcut version of a banana latte, with the hazelnut coffee meant to add depth and balance the sweetness of the banana milk.

The recipe has spread on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Anyone who wants a less sweet version can swap the hazelnut coffee for an Americano. It is also a popular pick-me-up for travelers exploring Korea's 24-hour convenience stores.
