Terms of Service

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service after registering.
• "Content" means all posts, images, text, and other material — including votes — that a member registers on the Service.
• "Points" means the virtual reward units (e.g., AP, HP) granted for using the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of These Terms)

• These Terms take effect upon being posted within the Service.
• The Service may amend these Terms to the extent such amendment does not violate applicable law.
• Where these Terms are amended, the Service will give advance notice through an in-Service announcement.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

• Registration is completed via email or social login.
• Members must provide accurate information. Providing false information may result in restrictions on use of the Service.

Article 5 (Provision of the Service)

The Service provides the following features:

• Posting A-vs-B votes
• Participating in votes and viewing results
• Other features determined by the Service

Article 6 (Member Obligations)

Members must not engage in any of the following:

• Infringing the rights of others
• Posting obscene, violent, or hateful content
• Uploading content that infringes copyright
• Interfering with the operation of the Service

Article 7 (Management of Content)

• Copyright in content belongs to the member who posted it.
• The Service may display content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
• Content that violates applicable law or these Terms may be removed without prior notice.

Article 8 (Points)

• Points are not a cash-equivalent asset.
• Points may be changed or discontinued in accordance with Service policy.

Article 9 (Restriction of Service Use)

• Where a member violates these Terms or applicable law, the Service may restrict the member's use of the Service, in whole or in part, after prior warning; where the violation is serious or repeated, the Service may impose such restriction immediately without prior warning.
• Violations include, without limitation: posting malicious, hateful, or discriminatory content; infringing another member's rights (harassment, defamation, impersonation, spam, etc.); fraudulent payment; operating automated bots or multiple accounts; and other abusive use.
• A member who disputes a suspension or termination decision may raise an objection to help@Korlymally.com.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

• The Service is not responsible for votes or content exchanged between members.
• The Service is not liable for force majeure events, including natural disasters and system failures.

Article 11 (Paid Services)

• The Service may offer certain features as paid subscription products (hereinafter "Paid Services").
• The price, subscription period, and scope of features of Paid Services are specified on the checkout page.
• Members must agree to the price and terms before payment; the right to use the Paid Service is granted immediately upon completion of payment.

Article 12 (Automatic Subscription Renewal and Cancellation)

• Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew under the same terms at the end of each billing cycle.
• Members may cancel automatic renewal at any time through My Page or the Payment Processor's customer portal.
• Upon cancellation, the member may continue to use the Service for the remaining paid period, and the subscription will not renew for the next cycle.
• Details of refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy.

Article 13 (Payment Processing)

• All payments are processed through the payment processor, Lemon Squeezy Software Inc.
• The Payment Processor, acting as Merchant of Record, automatically calculates and remits value-added tax (VAT), sales tax, and other applicable global taxes.
• Members' payment information (such as card numbers) is handled directly by the Payment Processor; the Service does not retain such information.

Article 14 (Restriction and Refund Due to Member's Fault)

• Where the Service suspends or terminates a member's use due to the member's violation of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law, no refund will, in principle, be provided for the remaining paid period.
• The detailed grounds and procedure are governed by Article 5 of the separate Refund Policy.
• A member who disputes a suspension or termination decision may raise an objection to help@Korlymally.com.

Article 15 (PDF Phrasebook License)

The Service sells Korean-learning PDF publications (hereinafter "PDF") as one-time digital products. The license terms applicable to a purchased PDF are as follows:

1. Lifetime License: The purchaser holds a permanent, personal right to use the Edition purchased (e.g., v1.0). The download link sent by email does not expire.
2. Download Frequency Limit: To prevent abuse, up to five downloads are permitted within any 30-day period for the same purchase. Exceeding this limit triggers a temporary 24-hour lock, which is reset immediately upon email verification.
3. Multilingual Access: A single purchase grants access to download all 13 language versions (Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, and Italian).
4. Watermark: The purchaser's email address is embedded as a watermark on every page of the PDF. This is for the purpose of tracing unauthorized redistribution and preventing abuse, and does not interfere with personal use.
5. No Redistribution: Resale, redistribution, or sharing of a purchased PDF through any channel (including social media, file-sharing sites, and messaging apps) is prohibited. In the event of a violation, the Service may revoke the license and pursue legal action.
6. Version Updates: Patches within the purchased Edition (v1.x) — such as typo corrections and minor content additions — are provided free of charge. A major new Edition (v2.0 or later) is sold as a separate SKU; purchasers of the existing v1.x Edition will receive a 50% upgrade discount code by email.
7. DRM-Free: This PDF is not protected by digital rights management (DRM); the purchaser may print, copy, and study offline. The prohibition on redistribution in Item 5 above must still be observed.
8. Refunds: Refunds for PDFs are governed by Article 6 (Refunds for Digital Content) of the separate Refund Policy.

Article 16 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court for any dispute shall be a court of the Republic of Korea.

Article 17 (Affiliate Link Disclosure)

BAKBING may participate in affiliate marketing programs. Which programs are in effect changes over time, so a retailer link is presented and marked as an affiliate link only while the program behind it is active. Where a link is marked that way, BAKBING may earn a commission if a member makes a purchase through it. This does not increase the price paid by the member in any way and does not influence the Service's content or rankings.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms are effective as of January 28, 2026. The amended Terms introducing the payment system (adding Articles 11 through 14 and revising Article 9) are effective as of May 1, 2026. The PDF Phrasebook License provision (Article 15) is effective as of May 1, 2026.

Note: The effective date may be adjusted to align with the actual launch date of the payment system.
