What happened

HYBE LABELS posted the official visualizer for LE SSERAFIM's "Made My Night (Karaoke ver.)". The description says the group's 2nd single album "Made My Night" is out now, and it credits DRiPKAST as 2D director.

In the Korean comments

The sample is 13 stored Korean-language comments, listed highest-liked first, out of 388 on the video when collected. Three of the 13 are about singing along. The most-liked, at 102 likes, reads in translation: "For those going to the US tour, I hope you prepare this well and sing it at the top of your lungs." Another reads, in translation, "Please sing loudly at the US Fearnots' concert, lol" (Fearnots is the fandom's name). A third reads, in translation, "The art animation is nice, I'll try hard to sing along! Fearnots, everyone stream hard! Mnet pre-voting and VMA voting are must-dos too!" Two other comments make comparisons. One reads, in translation, "The vibe of the older sisters stuck on Lotteria's wallpaper... (people who know it, go get a health checkup)". Lotteria is a fast-food burger chain in Korea, and the aside reads as a joke that recognizing the reference dates you. Another reads, in translation, "Why does hearing it this way remind me of Wonder Girls' Tell Me lol."

What the words mean

One comment shows two look-alike labels being mixed up. In translation it reads: "I came in thinking it was the Korea version. I came thinking 'so they figured out what was lacking,' but it was the karaoke version. I miss the Korean lyrics." The two terms are 코리아 버젼 (Korea beojeon, Korea version) and 카라오케버젼 (karaoke beojeon, karaoke version). The title's tag means what it says, a karaoke version, and the description and captions say nothing more about what this version is. "Korea version" is the commenter's own expectation, and their last line suggests they were hoping for Korean lyrics. The tone is casual and a little wistful.
