The World Heritage Festival is a cultural heritage festival staged at UNESCO World Heritage sites across the country, designed to reinterpret and experience the universal value of humanity’s shared heritage in a contemporary way. In its 7th year, this year's festival will take place across the country, centered on the traces of ancient civilization found in the 'Gaya Tumuli', the striking volcanic landscapes of the 'Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes', and in Andong, where tradition and modern life coexist, the 'Sansa, Buddhist Mountain Monasteries in Korea', 'Historic Villages of Korea', and 'Seowons, Korean Neo-Confucian Academies'.
