Reactions to SM's first-ever running event today
Around 15000 people took part, casuals and fans combined, and overall there seem to be lots of positive reactions saying it was fun and kind of magical, the kit was great, and everything ran smoothly
(Idols who aren't signed to SM took part too)
Get a feel for the vibe
You could get interviewed next to your fave
You could have a magical run by the sea (in Yeongjongdo), cheering your fave on and getting cheered on in return
If you yelled, "I'm dying 😭," an artist would personally cheer you on out loud
As you ran, Minho would pass by giving out endless high fives
MAX CHANGMIN kept acting as a pacemaker for the final group
Apparently Minho ran the course one more time to give beginner runners the energy to finish
You could watch Chuu running while singing Way to Go in person lol
You could be Yuri and her nnnn brides
You could become a fansite master who runs faster than Suho
There was a DJ set and performances after the run
Reviews from regular runners
Apparently you could also experience that strong sense of loyalty among fans
They played songs along each section of the course, and the final song was Hope
Lyric stickers on the ground
Banners handwritten by the artists to cheer everyone on
The response seems to be that it was run really well with a festival vibe and no major complaints in particular, so it looks pretty likely they'll hold it again next year, yeah
I saw Minho 3 times lmaoooo. I was in the last group, so I started late, while Minho was in the first group, and not long after I started running, Minho came toward me from the other direction lmaoooo. So I casually got a high five, got this huge dopamine rush, and watched all the celebs turning around on the other side (I saw almost all of them lol). Then after I turned around and had run about 7 kilometers? I saw Minho coming from the other direction again and couldn't believe my eyes lmaoooooooo. Minho had run it twice lol. I ran like hell because I wanted to finish before Minho, who was doing 2 laps lol. Not long after I finished, Minho completed both laps too, so I saw Minho 3 times total. It was freaking hilarious 😭
Fansite-master runners, fuck lmaoooooooooooo. An artist I like took part too, so I got kind of interested, but looking at the pace, running together would be touuugh... Still, it looks fun!!@
It's so funny that SM Run ended with Hope too, seriously lmaoooo. Of course it's the school anthem
