A former K-Pop idol shared an update as she prepares for childbirth, revealing photos of her beautiful baby bump.
On October 3rd, several photos were posted on Instagram with the caption, “Behind the scenes of my maternity shoot,” by former Apink member Hong Yukyung.
She said, “I was living without much thought, but when I reached 30 weeks, it suddenly came to mind, so I hurriedly did a maternity shoot.” She added, “The weather was nice, and it was a happy day making memories with Dangdang.”
In the released photos, Hong Yoo-kyung is seen wearing a white crop top matched with a shirt and pants, leaning against a wall by the window. She naturally showcased her beautiful D-line with a relaxed smile, holding her belly with one hand.
The calm and happy mood of Hong Yukyung, awaiting childbirth, stood out amid the bright sunlight and white clothing.
Hong Yookyung announced her pregnancy herself in May. Since then, she revealed her baby’s nickname is “Dangdang” and that she is having a boy, expressing her affection by saying, “Let’s meet after you grow up healthy.”
Meanwhile, Hong Yukyung debuted with Apink in 2011 and left the group in 2013. She married a dermatologist in 2023 and is currently expecting her first child.
