Lee Ji-hye posts an Instagram update explaining the Sungsimdang cleanout controversy (prepare to be baffled)
Sungsimdang runs at near-factory scale in Daejeon, so commenters think Lee Ji-hye’s queued purchase was nowhere near a cleanout.

Anyone who's actually been to Sungsimdang would laugh in disbelief the moment they saw this completely made-up controversy lol. And apparently they all waited in line to make their purchases.

Do they think Sungsimdang is some tiny bakery that randomly announces days off on Instagram and says, “Please DM us with any questions 🙏”? lol. Sungsimdang is practically a bread factory, and tons of groups visiting Daejeon buy loads of stuff there.
It probably wasn't even a controversy until someone called it one, but let's all learn from Wonyoung's way of thinking. If the person ahead buys that much, you get even fresher bread. Sungsimdang puts out a shitload of bread at once, so what are they even talking about? lol
If I want two Siru cakes of the same kind, I take my mom with me so we can wait in line and buy two, since they give one per person lol. I think you could buy one of each if they were different kinds, but I'm a little fuzzy on that... Anyway, lol. That amount doesn't come close to qualifying as a cleanout. Sungsimdang runs its baking operation on a damn factory scale lol. The employees working shifts would be offended that anyone called that tiny amount a cleanout.
