TXT legal action notice / Notice on legal response to infringement of TXT artist rights (10.22)

Hello. This is Big Hit Music. We have recently confirmed that false information and malicious rumors about our artist are being indiscriminately spread on overseas SNS and online communities, and we have been taking the necessary internal measures and responses. Up until now, we have refrained from issuing separate notices or comments, in order to avoid having rumors and malicious posts that differ from the facts spread even further unnecessarily through an official statement. However, we have determined that malicious rumors and posts aimed at defaming our artist ahead of their comeback have reached a serious level, and we are informing you that we will be taking additional response measures to protect our artist's rights and interests. Posting and spreading malicious posts is a clear criminal act that seriously damages our artist's character and reputation. We are currently collecting evidence of related posts on platforms both in Korea and overseas, and we state clearly that we will take firm legal action without any leniency or settlement. As our artist's personal rights are being seriously violated, we are responding strictly to malicious posts regardless of the channel, be it SNS, online communities, or others. We ask fans to report and inform us of illegal posts so that reckless rumors and information do not keep spreading on SNS and online. If you come across any illegal act or case of rights infringement related to our artist, please actively report it through HYBE's Artist Rights Infringement Report site (protect.hybecorp.com). Big Hit Music will continue to respond firmly, under a zero-tolerance policy, to all illegal acts that infringe on our artist's rights and interests, and will do our best to protect our artist and prevent similar harm from happening again.
