A concert venue that supposedly has nothing but perks except the location.

INSPIRE Arena on Yeongjongdo
It’s one of the few arenas in Korea built specifically for concerts rather than sporting events, so
the sound is freaking great + the view is freaking great from anywhere + the bathrooms and other facilities are clean and freaking nice + it’s attached to a hotel, so there’s a food court too
+ it’s about the size of KSPO Dome
It really is the perfect concert venue aside from the downside of being on Yeongjongdo..
(Though since it’s right by Incheon Airport, getting there might actually be easier for people from outside Seoul..)
Location matters most to me when I book concerts, so if it’s held there, I won’t—can’t—go... The transportation is hell, so I don’t even consider it T_T That one downside beats all the perks...

I’m from outside Seoul, and Seoul is overwhelmingly better. Getting to Incheon Airport is easy, but getting from the airport to the venue is ridiculous. It’s at least manageable before the concert, but afterward, whether you drive, take a regular shuttle, a Kakao shuttle, or a taxi, it’s absolute hell. To get home comfortably, you have to skip the encore; otherwise, you have to accept getting home insanely late.
I’m so satisfied with it that it makes up for the bad location. You don’t have to endure waiting outside when it’s cold or hot, the seats are cushy, the view is good, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s somewhere to sit while you wait T_T
Downside: 1000. Perks: 100. Seriously, the location is so damn far away, and you’re basically stuck inside INSPIRE, but there’s nowhere near enough room for the concert crowd. The restaurants, cafés, everything.... There aren’t enough seats. Having to play this constant game of trying to snag a spot all day is so draining. Unless it’s a concert you absolutely have to attend, the best choice is just not going.
