Kenta appeared in the Kenta’s Korean Home Reveal video uploaded to the ICU channel on the 24th. He shared that he now lives alone after the member he had lived with for 7 years enlisted in the military. Behind the glamorous stages, he had been carrying a heavy burden. He confessed, “When I left the company after being an idol, I ended up with 400 million won in debt. Because that debt is there, I feel this weight of ‘I have to pay it back,’ along with a sense of responsibility.” Looking back, he said, “I thought I should quit being an idol. I felt like it wasn’t right for me. I burned out and lost my sense of purpose for the first time in my life.” He added, “Recently I found a new goal, and the first thing is paying off the debt. I still have a lot left.”

Ugh, f*ck. Would things have been better if they’d filed for an injunction first and waited for it to be granted? Just thinking about Star Road still makes my blood boil so much I can’t sleep.
Apparently they won the exclusive-contract lawsuit but lost the damages lawsuit, so that part really hit hard 😭😭 People say celebrities can make big money easily, but that number is just impossible to wrap your head around...
The agency was shady, but they should’ve at least secured an injunction and sorted things out first. They got the order wrong.
