What happened

HYBE LABELS presents BOYNEXTDOOR’s [HOME: DELUXE] promotion as a mock documentary in which a researcher interviews nine people who identify as different animals. The album is scheduled for September 28, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST.

Why Koreans care

Myung Jaehyun’s animal is 개미 (gaemi, literally “ant”; colloquially, an individual stock-market investor). His dialogue about following those ahead of him, getting caught in a stock, and insisting that a loss is not real until he sells turns Korean finance slang into the mock documentary’s animal classification.

In the Korean comments

One comment reads, in translation, “Reinterpreting each person’s distinctive charm as new animal behavior gave me chills—and music is the medium.” Two others point viewers to 11:43–11:46, where Woonhak keeps cooing and flapping like his assigned pigeon while the people beside him hold composed expressions.

What the words mean

물음표살인마 (mureumpyo sarinma, literally “question-mark murderer”) is a playful, exaggerated label for someone who bombards others with questions. A comment applies it to Sungho’s rapid succession of questions about Antarctica, the Arctic, the desert, pink droppings, marriage, stones, and cracking ice.
