What happened

This is 미공개분 (migongaebun, previously unreleased footage) from TWS's own behind-the-scenes series, TWS:CLUB. The members trade the names of famous footballers — Son Heung-min, Kane, Lamine Yamal — and turn one of those names into an on-the-spot word game, while the title asks whether member Youngjae is finally "graduating" from a long-running "no-fun" nickname.

Why Koreans care

After someone names the footballer Lamine Yamal — written in Korean as 라민 야말 (Lamine Yamal) — the members notice his name splits into two syllables, 야 (ya, the first syllable) and 말 (mal, "words/talk"), since 말 (mal, words or talk) by itself is just the everyday Korean word for "talk." They turn this into an impromptu 이행시 (ihaengsi, a two-line acrostic game built from a word's syllables), and one member ends up teasingly told "말 좀 줄여" (mal jom julyeo, "cut down on the talking") — a pun that only works because the footballer's name happens to end on Korea's own word for speech. That's why the transcript suddenly jumps from naming soccer players into a wordplay battle and a joke about someone talking too much.

In the Korean comments

These comments are reacting to the title's own pun on member Youngjae's name, 최영재미없어 (choi yeongjae-mieopseo, literally "Choi Youngjae is no fun"), by flipping it. What the words mean

The title's 최영재미없어 (choi yeongjae-mieopseo) reads, syllable by syllable, as 최영재 (Choi Yeongjae, a full-name form of member Youngjae's name used specifically to set up this joke) fused with 재미없어 (jaemi-eopseo, "is no fun/boring") — the two share the syllable 재 (jae, a Korean syllable), so they overlap into a single string instead of staying separate words. Taken at face value, that looks like a flat insult: "Choi Youngjae is boring." In context it isn't one — it's a long-running, affectionate nickname/in-joke about Youngjae having a "no-fun" reputation, and the title is asking whether this episode is his "graduation" from it. The comments answer by flipping the same pun to 최영재미있어 (choi yeongjae-mi-isseo, "Choi Youngjae IS fun"), celebrating that he was funny here. The register is teasing and affectionate throughout, not critical — a joke the show and commenters make with the member, not against him.
