What happened

aespa's channel posted a video titled "be my lover boy", and its tags include GISELLE and BYEB4HELLO. One Korean-language comment calls it Aeri's solo song. Aeri is Giselle's given name.

In the Korean comments

In this sample of ten Korean-language comments, the same singer goes by two names. The video's tags use her stage name, GISELLE and 지젤 (Jijel, Giselle), and two comments use it too. Three others call her 애리 (Aeri, Giselle's given name). One comment begins, in translation, "Aeri nuna's solo song, the song is so good". 누나 (nuna) literally means "older sister", the word a man uses for his own elder sister. It is also used as an affectionate title for an older woman the speaker feels close to. Attached to a name like this, it is a familiar form of address, not a claim of family. Another comment opens with "Ah, really, Aeri-ya". The ending in 애리야 (Aeri-ya) is the casual form used when calling someone close to you by name. A separate comment says, in translation, that "this byeb4" is one that makes the writer look forward to the solo songs still to come as well. It uses "byeb4" as the name of the release. The comment does not say what byeb4 is beyond that.

What the words mean

One comment reads, in translation, "Wait, the proportions... this really makes no sense... how is this even a person??" Each part of it is an exaggerated way of praising how someone looks. - 비율 (biyul) literally means "ratio". In talk about looks it means body proportions, such as the balance of head, torso and legs. - 말이 안 된다 (mari an doenda) literally means "it doesn't make sense". Here it is hyperbolic praise for something that looks unreal. The commenter typed it as 말안된다 (mari an doenda, it doesn't make sense) without spaces. - 어케 (eoke) is a casual spelling of 어떻게 (eotteoke, how). 이게 어케 사람 (ige eoke saram, how is this a person) is another way of saying someone looks too good to be real. - The opening 아니 (ani) literally means "no". Here it works as an interjection, like "wait, seriously". The register is casual, exaggerated and admiring.
