Following 2024, this walking event will be held across even more regions deeply connected to the Han River, at major hubs in the Han River basin including Seoul Yeouido, Pocheon in Gyeonggi, Gapyeong in Gyeonggi, Chungju in Chungbuk, Yeoju in Gyeonggi, Chuncheon in Gangwon, and Seoul Forest. Participants will receive generous souvenirs and a finisher medal, and each route includes special programs that reflect the nature of the local area, offering a chance to experience cultural activities and ecological value firsthand. Participants will also serve as members of the Han River Basin Expedition Team. As part of the expedition, they walk along the Han River waterways in each region, enjoy the rich autumn atmosphere, and document the Han River’s ecological value and importance through photos and videos to share widely on social media. This is another meaningful step toward a sustainable future with the Han River, helping spread the beauty of the river and raise social awareness of nature. More than a simple walk, this event is a journey of empathy with nature that leads to action. We invite everyone to walk along the breath of the Han River, listen to the messages the river carries, and take a step toward the future.
