With the theme of 'a new race of culture,' 700m of Janghan-ro transforms into a car-free arts and culture street for one day. Performances, hands-on activities, and citizen-participation programs take place throughout Janghan-ro, reimagining the road itself as a festival space. Drawing on the history of Janghan-ro, from Janghanpyeong, where royal horses ran in the Joseon period, to the center of Korea's modern automobile industry, the festival presents a new race that moves from 'horses' to 'cars' to 'culture.'
