Festungsstadt im Wald - Herbstfest von Namhansanseong

The 2026 Forest Fortress City - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa is an immersive program held throughout Namhansanseong, inviting citizens to enjoy the value of this World Heritage site. Across the fortress, visitors can rediscover Namhansanseong’s historic significance and beauty through a variety of hands-on activities, performances, and tours. The festival features four programs: 〈Traditional Culture Experience〉, where history and heritage come alive through hands-on activities; 〈Eco-History Camp〉, where guided sessions and nature-based activities explore the fortress’s ecology; 〈Namhansanseong Yeonhui Festival〉, featuring theater and Korean traditional music; and 〈Chuseok Special Program〉, which fills Namhansanseong with light and music during the Chuseok holiday. Visitors can experience the value and charm of World Heritage Namhansanseong up close.
