This scene shows Im Sol directly confessing to Ryu Seon-jae with '좋아해' (I like you), '내가 너 좋아한다고' (I said I like you). In the repeated confessions, '-다고' (that I said) is used to emphasize and convey one's feelings or facts. The following expressions like '내가 옆에 있어줄게' (I will be by your side), '평생 있어줄 테니까' (Because I will be with you forever) are often used to convey unwavering support and promises to the other person.
