At the festival site, you can experience and enjoy both Korean mask dance, listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and mask dances from countries around the world. It will also offer a space to come together through a colorful lineup of performances, parades, Daedong Nanjang, and the World Mask Dance Contest. Andong International Mask Dance Festival2026 aims to connect the time preserved by masks with life today. When children and elders, local residents and visitors from around the world all laugh, applaud, and share rhythms in the same space, the memories passed down by masks become living culture.
