*The festival content below is from last year’s (2025) festival, and the 2026 festival details are being updated.* The Anseong Machum Namsadang Baudeogi Festival is a festival inspired by 'Namsadangnori,' designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Korea and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It recreates the richness of 'Anseong old market,' one of the three major markets of the Joseon Dynasty, and offers hands-on experiences, exhibitions, Namsadang performances, overseas folk performances, and traditional and contemporary performances. It was also selected as a cultural tourism festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for 2024-2025, offering a rich program that combines culture and tourism.
