Ginseng is one of Korea's signature health foods, known for helping restore energy and strengthen immunity. In 10월, when ginseng is at its most nutrient-rich, 풍기인삼축제 is held in 영주, one of Korea's leading ginseng-producing regions. True to a festival themed around health, it focuses on health-related exhibitions and hands-on experiences. Visitors can taste ginseng dishes made with nutrient-packed 풍기인삼 and enjoy fun activities related to ginseng, such as peeling ginseng, making ginseng wine, and finding the golden ginseng. They can also buy fresh ginseng, red ginseng, and processed ginseng products carefully harvested by local farmers at affordable prices.
