Festival Buku Cheonan

Cheonan's signature book festival brings together reading, interactive experiences, and play in partnership with libraries, book clubs, bookstores, and publishers. Open to all residents, it features author meet-and-greets, live performances, hands-on booths, special programs, and an outdoor reading area. Held at Cheonan Samgeori Park's Sunken Plaza, the festival opens with a ceremony and celebrates avid readers with awards, followed by family musical performances and ensemble concerts. Relax under autumn skies in the outdoor reading area with your favorite book. Meet author Han So-gon, recognized for 고추장 심부름 as the 2026 Cheonan City Book of the Year, and author Lee Seo-soo, writer of 그래도 춤을 추세요. Explore 16 interactive experience booths and 13 bookstore and publisher stalls offering diverse reading experiences. Admission is free.
