The ‘Citizens' Energy Walking Festival’ is an eco-friendly energy participation program organized to commemorate the 2026 Daejeon World Solar Energy Conference (WCPEC-9). Participants will walk through the autumn city of Daejeon, experiencing the values of energy and the environment firsthand, while reflecting on a sustainable future. This event is a walking program that anyone can enjoy without competition, starting from the Daejeon Expo Citizens' Plaza and walking around Hanbat Arboretum, completing mobile stamp missions. By completing a total of 4 missions through smartphone QR verification, participants will receive a completion reward and a mobile completion certificate. Various programs will also be held to learn about energy in an easy and fun way alongside the walking program. This event, taking place on November 15, 2026, at the Daejeon Expo Citizens' Plaza, offers a special day for citizens to walk, learn, and experience the importance of sustainable energy and the environment naturally. It is a citizen-participatory energy festival where each person's steps come together to create a greener tomorrow.
