Now in its 7th year, 양평부추축제 celebrates the premium chives of Yangdong-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, one of Korea’s top chive-producing areas, along with the region’s outstanding agricultural products. Created by local schools, farms, and residents, this community-led festival offers fresh produce made with farmers’ care, a wide range of food, and hands-on activities. The 2026 「부추多 양평부추축제」 is themed around a festival with plenty of flavor, fun, and happiness. Enjoy chive-based specialties such as the signature 「부추多 부추국밥」, chive rice cakes, chive noodles, and chive makgeolli, along with programs where visitors can see, touch, and experience Yangdong chives, including planting chive pots and preparing chives.
