수원화성 미디어아트

Set against the backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site Suwon Hwaseong, Suwon Hwaseong Media Art has been held since 2021. In 2026, it takes on a new theme, 「새빛동락(同樂) : 수원화성(華城), 빛으로 피어나다」, following the 2021~2025 「만천명월:정조의 꿈, 빛이되다」 season. Under the theme of welcoming guests with [새빛] and enjoying the night of Suwon Hwaseong together with [동락], the festival presents a spectacular night event of giant media art, expressing through vivid light the stories of people spanning from the fortress's construction to the present. Over 18 days, visitors can enjoy large-scale media art combining light, video, and performances around Hwaseomun, as well as experiential and interactive media art in Jangan Park.
