Iksan, a city of jewelry and culture, is home to Korea’s only precious metals and jewelry industrial complex, established in 1976, and boasts a history as precious as a gemstone. In particular, Inhwadong is a place where oral traditions and living culture have endured through the years, now being reborn as an immersive setting that combines them with AR and RPG technology. An intriguing legend tells of 2t of gold bars buried beneath the former Japanese farm warehouse in Juhyeondong, a designated National Registered Cultural Heritage site.
