The Dongducheon Book Culture Festival is a cultural celebration where everyone comes together through books and reading. Highlights include a special lecture with Dr. Im Young-joo, performances by a wind orchestra, the Dongducheon City Choir, and a magic bubble show, plus a children’s reading Golden Bell quiz and living-book experience booths hosted by local craft studios. At the book market, local bookstores and publishers offer the chance to browse books from many fields and discover a new favorite. By adding culture and hands-on experiences to the joy of reading, the festival offers a welcoming day for all ages to get closer to books.
