Reality Show Star Divulges The Story Behind Her Failed Idol Debut
A reality show star shared the story behind her canceled idol debut.
Recently, a video titled “The Real Reason My Idol Debut Fell Through… Storm of Autumn Clothes Resale + Seeding Scam” was uploaded on YouTube by Lee Si An.
In the video, Lee Si An met with Ki Jeong Eun, with whom she trained as a trainee, and they enjoyed a meal together in Itaewon.
Lee Si An joked, “We were actually the visuals,” then said, “We recorded many songs and were literally just about to debut.”
She added, “We were just really unlucky. It felt like the world was unjustly putting us down.”

Ki Jeong Eun explained that they were supposed to debut as a group at the Waterbomb festival stage, but the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which delayed their debut.
Although there were talks of debuting after the pandemic ended, the prolonged situation ultimately led to the debut being canceled.
After leaving their agency and going their separate ways, Lee Si An confessed, “It’s a bit disappointing, right? There’s always some regret.”
Meanwhile, Lee Si An, who appeared on Mnet’s Idol School and Produce 48, gained attention last year as a contestant on Netflix’s original variety show Single’s Inferno 4.
