Top K-Drama Actor Revealed To Be Reportedly Dating Co-Star For 6 Years
Actor Yoo Seung Ho has reportedly been in a secret relationship with actress Lim Se Joo for six years.
On October 8, Korean media outlet Edaily exclusively reported that the two stars have been dating since 2020, having first met while working together on a television drama. According to the report, Yoo Seung Ho and Lim Se Joo became acquainted through the tvN drama Memorist, which premiered in March 2020.
The two reportedly grew closer while filming the drama, eventually developing romantic feelings for one another through their shared passion for acting. What began as a professional relationship allegedly blossomed into a romance that has now lasted approximately six years.
Despite both being public figures, Yoo Seung Ho and Lim Se Joo reportedly managed to keep their relationship largely hidden from the public throughout that time. According to Edaily, the couple initially shared news of their relationship with only a small circle of close acquaintances. As their relationship continued over the years, however, more people within the entertainment industry reportedly became aware that the two were dating. The report also revealed details of the couple’s alleged recent dates.
Yoo Seung Ho and Lim Se Joo were reportedly spotted walking Yoo Seung Ho’s pet dog together around Seogyo-dong in Seoul’s Mapo District. They were also said to have enjoyed dates around Paju, Gyeonggi Province, spending time together in public places despite keeping their romance out of the spotlight.
The revelation has attracted particular attention because Yoo Seung Ho has maintained a relatively private personal life despite spending more than two decades in the entertainment industry. Yoo Seung Ho made his debut as a child actor in the 2000 MBC drama Daddy Fish. He became a household name after starring in the 2002 film The Way Home.
Meanwhile, Lim Se Joo originally debuted as a singer in 2011 under the stage name Heora before transitioning into acting in 2014. With both actors having built their careers independently, reports that they have quietly maintained a relationship for six years have brought renewed attention to their connection through Memorist.
Neither actor’s agency has given a statement yet, as of the time of writing.
