NEON is blowing up overseas on Apple Music
NEON debuted at No. 11 on Global Apple Music, while some theqoo users debated whether the buzz was organic or viral.

Currently No. 6 on Global Apple Music
It debuted at No. 11, setting the highest debut of the year too (higher than BLACKPINK's GO)

It's breaking all kinds of records!

Major markets where it's charting
No. 1 in Korea and China
It hasn't entered the US chart, nor the major European charts, while it's only now starting to climb in Japan
Every song currently in the global top 10 is also in the top 15 on US Apple Music
NEON still hasn't entered the US chart
To give you a sense of how high that ranking is,

ADÉLA's insanely hot song Ain't in LA
is currently No. 13 on Global Apple Music

Number of major markets where it's charting
It's charting in lots of major European countries, the US, and more
And apparently people in Turkey are making an even bigger fuss
Turkey Apple Music chart

NEON at No. 5

A boy group at No. 54
Rookie K-pop songs are entering and climbing a chart normally locked down by popular local songs, so people in Turkey are a little surprised too

Real buzzBut people really are talking about them a ton lately, even in my own circles... and everyone around me is a non-fan.... I do think the response is genuinely good. I loved the song too, so I listened to it a lot.
Suspicious numbersWhen you compare the Global chart with ADÉLA's song, the numbers look blatantly suspicious lol. Are numbers like that even possible? Do the fans not know either...

Oh, I thought this was the domestic Apple Music chart, and since its market share is like 1%, I was thinking fans could push the ranking up as much as they wanted, like on Bugs... But this is global?
