I do use a lot of ice, but when my senior coworker said people were talking, I told them to come in early

Commenters are debating workplace consideration after an office worker responded badly to complaints about taking too much shared ice.

By their own account, their tumbler is big, they use a lot of ice every day, and they drink coffee often too

Plus, the office water dispenser seems too small for the number of people, so that probably makes it worse

This is just about being considerate. Why can’t they take the hint?

I take a lot of ice too, so I just put an ice tray in the company freezer and use my own ice, since other people might not get any because of me... It’d be nice if everyone showed a little consideration, but these days it feels like there’s this culture of mocking people for not being quick enough
