Top Male Idol’s Comment About Who “Paved The Way” In K-Pop Sparks Major Controversy

BIGBANG’s Daesung credited bandmate G-Dragon with paving K-pop’s way since 2006, reigniting the familiar BTS fandom debate.

Earlier in the year, BIGBANG Taeyang was bombarded with comments after an interview, with many speaking about how “BTS paved the way.”

Daesung has recently sparked hugely mixed reactions with his comments about fellow member G-Dragon.

During a recent show, Daesung said that he thought that since 2006, G-Dragon had “paved the way” for everything, seemingly referring to his influence on the K-Pop sphere.
