Daily careMy dog only goes to the bathroom outside, so I get up at 5 in the morning for a walk (I have to be at work by 7), get off work and come home at 4 in the afternoon for another walk, then take another walk at 10 before bed. Seriously. I have no time for myself or even time to rest. 😭 I do 3 walks a day on weekends too.
Saying goodbyeOf course you have to do it. Even when my herniated disc and sciatica were killing me, I'd down some painkillers and go for a walk... I cut back on money for myself and save it for vet bills that could come up at any time... I can endure all of that, but now that my dog is getting old, what scares me most is wondering whether we don't have much time left before we have to say goodbye.

Of course you have to do it. Even when my herniated disc and sciatica were killing me, I'd down some painkillers and go for a walk... It's this hard, yet just anyone is allowed to get one, which is probably why there are so many abandoned dogs. They really shouldn't let just anyone have one. I also spent 6 years nursing mine through illness, and it was incredibly hard on my whole family 😭 I still miss my dog so much, but I never want to have another animal again.
