In 100 Days of Deception, Ga-gyeong comes back from interpreting and tells So-ran she's done being an informant, then fires off all the things she couldn't bring herself to translate. It was seriously suffocating to watch the whole time. Awards shows, go ahead and engrave Kim You Jung's name on the trophies
+ Adding the next scene!

When Ga-gyeong realizes the man she just interpreted for was Seo-hee's father and So-ran's husband, what really stuck with me was that instead of apologizing, she said, "You're all crazy." Ga-gyeong still doesn't fully understand their independence movement, and every moment of being misunderstood and put through tests piled up until she finally exploded like that…

She was always a good actor, but it felt like she hadn't found the right projects or characters. Like, she could act, but never got a role where she could really show everything she could do. Since Dear X, though, it feels like she's finally getting characters she can really sink her teeth into, and I love that. I was disappointed she didn't win anything despite acting so well in Dear X, so I really hope she wins this time. She's so good.
There are so many complicated emotions in that scene, but Kim You Jung acts them so well that you understand every single one. And when Kim Hyun Joo asks her name again—"Lee Ga-gyeong?"—So-ran's voice sounds weak, frightened, and broken for the first time since joining the National Salvation Corps. I thought that was incredibly subtle. Seriously, everyone is such a good actor.
Kim You Jung is putting on an acting masterclass. Give her a hundred Daesangs and Best Actress awards.
