The agency that used an idol's trauma as content for its own show
Fans are criticizing JYP after Lily received an acting prompt that closely mirrored her childhood bushfire trauma.

When Lily was young, the Australian bushfires caused extensive damage to her hometown of Marysville. Lily struggled with trauma and depression afterward, but at her mother's suggestion, she was able to overcome it through music.
But in the self-produced content uploaded today,

one of the acting test prompts was to “act like your house burned down and is gone.”

As soon as Lily said, “Guess I don't even have to act for this?” all the members went quiet and told them to hurry up and change the prompt.
People in Korea and abroad are saying there's no way they didn't know the story Lily told on K-pop Star, that they showed no consideration for her, and that even if the production company didn't know, the agency should have cut it. JYP still hasn't taken the video down.

Are they out of their minds? Even if the production team didn't know when they released it, they should've edited it out immediately after seeing the members react like that. Why would they upload someone else's trauma like this?
I can believe they might've done it without knowing. But if so, they should've just edited it out. Why go out of their way to leave it in...?
Guess they thought it would get them some publicity.
