A classic ballad by 1st-gen idol icons H.O.T., sung when the members were just 17–19 (composed by Yoo Young-jin/lyrics by Kangta)
The Promise of H.O.T.
We're painting the same dream in our hearts
Right now, all of us together
Feel like we're one
Because of the love we shared
Those beautiful days came to us
Sometimes, when I was lonely or exhausted
And couldn't take it anymore
What woke me back up
Was knowing that we were one
I know it will last forever
The promise we've always made
Because we'll all remember it
Until the day we grow old and weary
We won't be able to sleep
Because our dream will still be alive
Can you still remember
The practice room where we first met?
All the sweat we've shed since then
And the tears
Because those days were so precious
I can't forget a single moment[1]
When things were hard or we were exhausted
The reason we couldn't sit down and rest
Was all of you who believed in me
And your love
I know it will last forever
The promise we've always made
Because we'll all remember it
Until the day we grow old and weary
We won't be able to sleep
Our dream is alive
We still have so many days
To open up together
Don't worry, we can do it
Let's all stay strong
And start again one more time
Our unwavering
Love for each other, our firm vow
These beautiful days will last forever
I know it will last forever
The promise we've always made
Because we'll all remember it
Until the day we grow old and weary
We won't be able to sleep
Because our dream will still be alive
Kangta's tone as the main vocalist is especially incredible (he was a 3rd-year high schooler when it was recorded)

Kangta said he wrote these lyrics after not seeing the members for like 3 or 4 days lolllllllll
I was a fan, and now the lyrics about being “old and weary” really hit home lol
Looking back now, I feel like this song defined the distinctively K-pop (p/n) emotional bond between idols and fandoms really early on
