They also talked about the story behind the much-discussed iconic “Does it hurt?... It hurts me too...” scene. Chae-ok wasn't supposed to cry in the original script, but Ha Ji-won got so immersed in the atmosphere, the emotions, and the role that the tears just came naturally... Lee Seo-jin immediately picked up on it and naturally wiped her tears, yeah.

I thought it was Joseon-era CSI in episode 1 and got excited, then went “damn it” and dropped it.
I remember seeing that scene in a rerun and getting completely sucked in. It's the most impactful scene from any drama I've ever watched.
I remember bombing my exams because of Damo and having a rough time making sure I caught every episode live.
