Lee Soo Man’s New Groups Accused Of “Stealing” From HYBE Idol
A2O SOUL and A2O LITE, the boy and girl groups launched by former SM Entertainment head Lee Soo Man, have sparked a major controversy over plagiarism accusations.

The issue sprouted from a collaborative dance performance between the two groups on Music Bank, featuring their breakthrough debut songs “Neon” (A2O LITE) and “Superstar” (A2O SOUL).
As their performance video surfaced online, fans of HYBE boy group TXT voiced their frustration, claiming that the dance routine shared overwhelming similarities with the dance break section of Yeonjun’s solo song, “GGUM.” Posts comparing the two routines surfaced quickly, with fans attacking A2O Entertainment’s creative team for what many called “blatant stealing.”
Though A2O fans argued that these moves were pretty common across K-Pop choreographies, many pushed back against this claim, explaining why they considered them more than simple overlaps.
The issue still remains a source of heated debate between the two fanbases.
