The puffer brand that's apparently huge with kids in their 10s right now

SPAO’s affordable lightweight puffers are becoming a go-to for kids in their 10s, with office workers buying them too.

According to the fashion industry on the 3rd, lightweight puffers from SPA brands have recently become popular among kids in their 10s. These products are priced under 100,000 won and are gaining buzz for being great value for money. Parents also often turn to relatively affordable SPA brands when shopping for their kids' clothes.

Lightweight puffers are hot not only at SPAO Kids but at SPAO too. From January 1 to October 27, sales in SPAO's lightweight puffer category reportedly rose 128% compared with the same period last year.

SPAO has tons of different puffers and they're all popular, but the Thin Light lightweight puffer is seriously basically a school uniform for schoolkids these days.

The reason is simple, yeah. The value for money is insane—you can get one in the 30,000-won range with a discount—and the designs are really cute too.

Apparently they're also hugely popular with office workers who want something easy to throw on all winter, not just kids in their 10s. It definitely feels different from when everyone only wanted expensive winter clothes.

And it's not just SPAO. I've been seeing lots of lightweight puffers from other SPA brands like TOPTEN too.

When I was in school 20 years ago, the unwritten rule was a 400,000-won North Face Nuptse puffer.

I bought a SPAO lightweight puffer last year and got another color this year, and I've been wearing it a lot. It was too cold for today's weather, though. Still, I'm happy with the quality.

The TOPTEN one Seulgi wore was sold out at every store I went to, but it was really cute.
