Look at it the other way, and history-distorting dramas should absolutely get sh*t on and disappear. The actors who appear in them should get sh*t too. Hope they make lots more dramas like 100 Days of Deception.

For real, even relatively progressive Japanese people seem to experience it differently when they actually see it portrayed on screen instead of just knowing about it.
