The Hwasun Jeokbyeok Cultural Festival is a local cultural festival held around Hwasun Jeokbyeok and the Iseo Community Center in Iseo-myeon, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, Gwangju Metropolitan City. The festival aims to offer visitors and local residents a variety of experiences and things to see by making use of Hwasun Jeokbyeok’s natural scenery and historical and cultural value. Main programs include a Jeokbyeok walking course that lets visitors explore Hwasun Jeokbyeok on foot, a GEO environmental concert that highlights the importance of the environment, Jeokbyeok Wellness Time for mind and body healing, hands-on programs run with local public institutions and organizations, and a market selling local specialty products from Hwasun.
