Starting from the 1st Baekje Grand Festival, first held in Buyeo-gun in 1955, the Baekje Cultural Festival marks its 72nd edition this year as one of Korea's leading history-and-culture festivals. It has long promoted Baekje's brilliant culture and rich history, carrying forward the spirit and heritage of the ancestors in modern ways while strengthening local identity and pride.
