The 31st Hongseong Namdang Harbor Prawn Festival is Hongseong's signature autumn food festival, where visitors encounter pristine seawater from Cheonsu Bay and fresh seasonal prawns. Held at Namdang Harbor, the West Coast's premier dining destination, this festival showcases plump, prime-season prawns alongside diverse performances and entertainment. The 2026 festival runs from September 4 to November 8 at Namdang Harbor and surrounding areas, with opening performances September 4-6 and Chuseok special performances September 25-26. The opening and Chuseok performances feature artists including Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin, Jang Do-hyun, Yu Do-hyun, Kim Jeong-ah, and Kim Seo-yeon, adding festive energy. Beyond prawns, Namdang Harbor showcases Cheonsu Bay's abundant seafood—including cutlassfish—making it a premier tourism destination. Festival-goers enjoy fresh seafood and local delicacies while admiring the West Coast's beautiful sunset. A celebration of food, performance, and seaside beauty for families, couples, and friends—Hongseong's quintessential autumn festival.
