*The festival details below are from last year (2025); the 2026 details are currently being updated.* The 동래읍성역사축제 has been held for 31 years as a signature history-education experience festival in Dongnae-gu, Busan, starting with the first 충렬제 in 1995. This year it will open with a new slogan, '동래성 사람들, 역사와 미래를 잇다!' For the 2025 31st edition, the festival plans to upgrade its signature open-air musical reenactment of the 동래성전투재현 and combine it with media art for a powerful performance. New content such as an outdoor escape room and an immersive video experience hall will also be added, creating a rich lineup of 51 programs across 5 categories from 10월 24일부터 10월 26일까지.
