The Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival is an autumn festival themed around the fortune-bringing energy of "솥바위," Uiryeong’s signature landmark. The rock, located in the middle of the Namgang River, has long been associated with a legend saying that "a great fortune will be born within a radius of 20 ri around 솥바위." When the founders of Samsung, LG, and Hyosung were in fact born in this area, the legend of 솥바위’s wealth became even more special. Since 2022, Uiryeong-gun has been holding the Rich Rich Festival to share this unique local story and positive energy with visitors. In its 5th edition this year, the festival offers a range of experiences, performances, and family programs where visitors can directly feel and enjoy the lucky energy of 솥바위.
