Stray Kids released the 2026 JYP Entertainment music video for “This & That,” a Korean-English track built around choosing or doing both rather than limiting oneself to one option.

Why Koreans care

The Korean counterpart to “this and that” is “이것저것,” an everyday expression meaning “various things” or “a bit of everything.” The lyrics turn that ordinary phrase into a boast about versatility, reinforced through distinctly Korean wordplay: “오지랖 곱빼기 빼줘” frames unwanted meddling as an oversized restaurant order and asks for it to be removed. The dense chain “체취/채취,” “sketch,” “catch,” and “matching” also reflects Korean idol rap’s preference for linking similar sounds across Korean and English rather than maintaining a single-language rhyme scheme.

What the words mean

“오지랖 곱빼기 빼줘 요청란에 써놨어” is not literally an order about clothing or food. “오지랖” idiomatically means excessive interference in other people’s business, while “곱빼기” means an extra-large serving; the line imagines writing “leave out the double portion of meddling” in a delivery-order request box. Likewise, “내 랩은 고기 패티” is playful sound-driven braggadocio: his rap is treated as the essential meat patty that cannot be omitted, setting up the following “Stray Kids badge” rhyme.
