Stray Kids World Tour ＜RUN IT SEOUL＞

What happened

Stray Kids posted a video titled "World Tour <RUN IT SEOUL>". The description says the RUN IT world tour "continues, with more stops coming soon". It also promotes the release "THIS & THAT" and two remix versions, "This Remixes" and "That Remixes".

Why Koreans care

The description shows how the release is packaged. "THIS & THAT" comes with two separate remix releases, one called "This Remixes" and one called "That Remixes". The tour text is worded as ongoing, with more dates still to be announced.

In the Korean comments

One comment reads, in translation, "What is this? Is it a signal to get ready for an 앙콘 (angkon, encore concert)..? (my own interpretation)". The commenter marks this as a personal guess, and nothing in the description mentions an encore concert. Another comment says, in translation, "I already miss the Run it Seoul concert. Stay healthy and do well on the rest of the tour!" It shows that at least one Korean-language commenter is writing about the Seoul show as something already over, and about the tour as still going.

What the words mean

앙콘 (angkon) is fan shorthand for 앵콜 콘서트 (aengkol konseoteu, encore concert), a follow-up run of shows after a tour. In the same comment, 뛸 준비 (ttwil junbi, "get ready to run") uses 뛰다 (ttwida), which literally means to run or jump. In concert-fan talk, "running" a concert means attending it. The tone is casual and playful, and the commenter labels it a guess. Another comment says a concert was so good it caused "몸살" (momsal). Literally that is body aches or the crash after overexertion. Here it is an exaggeration for "so good I was worn out from it", and it is casual and enthusiastic.
