인천개항장 국가유산 야행

Marking its 10th anniversary, the 인천개항장 국가유산 야행 has rebranded the open port district around the identity of “Korea’s first international city,” expanding Incheon’s unique open-port story even further. In 1883, though the city’s gates were opened by outside forces, Incheon did not reject new cultures and instead embraced them. While preserving its own identity, the city chose coexistence. The 인천개항장 district was where tradition and modernity, Joseon and the world, walked side by side, and it became Korea’s first international city. In the 2025 야행, the open port district as the city first connected to the world is once again brought into focus.
