The Wonju Yongsugol Autumn Flower Festival is a resident-led autumn flower festival held in the Yongsugol area of Panbu-myeon, Wonju City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The 5th edition, held from September 23 to October 5, 2026, features flower gardens cultivated and maintained by local residents themselves. Showcasing seasonal autumn blooms—zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, yellow cosmos, liatris, celosia, and aster—arranged across multiple themed zones by flower type and color. The festival centers on flower viewing and photography, with local residents providing food and regional agricultural products for sale. As a complement to spring's poppy festival at Yongsugol, the autumn flower festival continues the seasonal flower-tourism tradition. Entirely resident-driven, from garden creation to festival operations and environmental care, it leverages the area's natural environment and rural landscape as tourism content. Yongsugol stands as a signature seasonal festival, offering spring poppy experiences and autumn flower tourism.
