'NS Food Festa' is a food and culture festival that has continued since 2008 to promote the growth of Korea's agriculture, fisheries, livestock, and food industries while serving up the very best in taste, sights, and fun. Held every year at in Hamyeol-eup, Iksan, the event goes beyond a simple competition, featuring a nationwide cooking contest with total prize money of 100 million won, a food startup competition, cooking classes, and more. Visitors can also enjoy gourmet tours of the Harim industrial plant, fresh markets, and local win-win markets, along with exhibition, hands-on, tasting, and sales booths. Everyone can get close to the cooking action and enjoy a rich culinary experience.
